How Gift Aid can make your gift go further
You can make your donation worth even more by using
Gift Aid. For every pound that you give us, we can get an
extra 25p from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you.
In order for us to make this claim, please can you sign and
date the gift aid declaration.
I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or
Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least
equal to the amount of tax for all charities that I donate to and
reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes
such as VAT and council tax do not qualify. I understand the charity
will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give on or after 6 April
2008. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want
to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all
your Gift Aid donations on your Self- Assessment tax return or ask HM
Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
I want the Charity to treat all donations that I have made in the 4
years prior to this date, and all donations I make from the date of this
declaration, as Gift Aid donations, until I notify you otherwise.

How a small monthly gift can make a BIG difference
At Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity we help and
support patients and their families in our local community
whose lives are affected by life-limiting illness. Every day is
dedicated to making the most of every moment.
Families come to Florence Nightingale Hospice for planned
review and reassessment, and the rare opportunity for a
break, but they also turn to us for specialist pain relief,
emergency care, and when the time comes, for palliative
and end of life care.
You can help us to do it
Regular gifts not only help to fund the vital work that the
hospice provides but they also help the hospice clinical
team to plan for future care with a little more confidence.
By giving a regular gift you can make an ongoing difference
to the patients and families who use our vital services.
Regular gifts also enable you to make a difference in the
way that fits in with your personal budget; you can increase,
decrease or cancel your regular gift at any time. What’s
more, if you are a UK taxpayer, your regular gift is eligible
for Gift Aid, which means your donation could be worth up
to 25% extra at no additional cost you.
