1. SUFFOLK
Our vision is to create a supportive
network of people who care deeply
about Suffolk, and who would like to
put something back into the community
by helping local women and girls in
need. We will meet twice a year, hear
some inspirational stories from people
active within the community, share
ideas and pool our financial support
to make well-targeted
grants for maximum impact.

2. WOMEN & GIRLS FUND
SUFFOLK – GIVING TOGETHER
TO SUPPORT LOCAL WOMEN
AND GIRLS IN NEED
We are looking for members to join our
Women & Girls Fund and make an annual
donation of £500 for a minimum of three
years to support local women and girls in
need. By joining together you can create
a lasting and profound change and
give women and girls in your community
an equal chance of making the most
of the opportunities offered through
community grants. The Fund is managed
by Suffolk Community Foundation.
WHERE DOES THE
MONEY GO?
• £250 will be used immediately to
support local projects through an
annual grant making round facilitated
by Suffolk Community Foundation.
• £250 will be used to build an
endowment fund for long-term
grant-making to women and girls
in Suffolk. Where possible, this will
be match funded through Suffolk
Community Foundation.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
By joining the Women & Girls Fund for
Suffolk, you will be leading by example.
You will have the backing of experts in
creating choices for women and girls
in your community. Suffolk Community
Foundation works closely with many
resourceful local charities and groups
that are making a real difference to
the lives of local women and girls. Our
objective is to help deliver projects that
support local women and girls in need,
and change their lives for the better.
Through collective giving, you will be
engaging with like-minded people and
will come to understand the issues
facing your own community better. Your
pooled donations and experience will
shape the grant making of the Fund and
you will belong to a group where the
whole is more than the sum of its parts.
The building of an endowment fund will
mean your gift will last in perpetuity.
Ultimately we would like to encourage
similar groups to start up across the UK
Community Foundation network, so that
collective giving becomes a collective
voice for women and girls across the UK.
