1. Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI)
Designation Program
INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENTS & BROKERS OF WASHINGTON
The Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation
program is designed for insurance producers. AAI gives you
a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive
insurance business. You will be able to increase your
commissions, enhance your knowledge of polices and
coverages, learn how to avoid E&O claims, and serve your
customers better. The program is intended to acquaint
agents, brokers, account managers and customer service
personnel with the major coverages that generate more
than 90 percent of most agencies’ premium volume. It also
deals with marketing management, sales management and
agency operations. AAI is a joint effort of the Insurance
Institute of America and the Independent Insurance Agents
& Brokers of America. It is a practical, concise program
produced by education specialists with agency experience.
No annual dues or updates are required to maintain the
designation.
• Each AAI Course (AAI 81, 82 and 83) is broken into three
segments - A, B & C. Attend all three segments for each
course – 9 one-day seminars in all! At the end of each
classroom segment, a 30 question multiple choice exam
is given.
• Successfully complete the Institutes’ free “Ethical
Guidelines for Insurance Professionals” online course.
