This is a sample prototype of what can actually be developed using highly sophisticated cloud technology like Microsoft Power Bi and ESRI's ArcGIS Online Platform. Both products have powerful analysis tools that have integrated the use of AI and Machine Learning.
Acknowledgments:
I would like to acknowledge that the data compilation of the election dataset and results were obtained from the Australian National University, facilitated by the Development Policy Centre at the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU College of Asia & the Pacific, under the leadership of Dr. Terence Wood.

2. Polling Venues – Counts of votes cast on site
All photos with location IDs are automatically captured using google
maps via smart mobile devices and also verified using a hand held
GPS device
2
All venue locations are geotagged with additional information.
Detailed analysis can be done on overall votes if boxes are tagged with total number of
e.g. Eastern Highlands Province
3. Publish Map Online
All google photos with location IDs are converted into a Map
and converted into an online web map for public viewing &
3
4. Map Details on the web
Sites with descriptions and legends appear on the web map,
open and free for the public
5. Cloud Apps and Web Maps can then be created. Web Maps are especially
useful for the public to view live and updated election data online

won over another and why this
increase/decrease was so and how this was
different compared to the other election years
etc. Multiple years and parties can be selected
and analysis done. There is no limit to this tool.
User selected the election
years 2012 and 2017 only.
Then within each year, they

The table will list all members of Christian Democratic Party and Peoples Democratic Movement across the country
for all election years were party members contested. In addition, other election data like minority parties and
preferential voting numbers can be shown including census data.
19. The map can also contain drill-down information that’s specific to a province and its electorates.
Should electorate polling and voting sites be geotagged with coordinates, then further analysis can
show a heat map to show which candidate has the majority of votes in real-time within that political
boundary.
