Problem statement 2 Urban development Current scenario Problems associated Envisioned solution • 31% of India’s population reside in the urban areas • This is an increase of 5% from 2001 • Rapid urbanization has resulted in many complex economic, social, demographic problems Created a host of problems which includes : Enable public participation for promoting a transparent and accountable government The problems of urbanization can be tackled by connecting government with its people • Spread of diseases • Congestion • Inadequate Water Supply • Waste Disposal • Pollution of air & water

Vision statement 3 Enable people visualize metrics in a simple way Leverage data related to urban development provided by http://data.gov.in/ Enable people to collaborate, provide rating and convey their point of view Enable people contact their local authorities in case of complaints & issues Create a collaborative environment for transparent, accountable government Create a simple collaborative platform for promoting transparency & accountability

Features of the App Rate the system Insights & Measures Comment on the system Raise an issue Allows people to rate the system, which would help users to understand about the functioning of a department in a particular city Allows people to comment and get into a conversation with a specific department in a specific city. Helping people understand the metrics verbally based on various cuts and helping government create awareness among public. Allows people contact the respective authority with ease.
