Initiative CityData 3,0 is collect the barriers (frictions) when data users are searching for available Open Data in cities.
these slides are the activities made in the last workshop related to finding and use open data available in cities to create a generic app.
Open discussion related to re- use open data barriers and spatial data quality criterions was also led in this workshop.

This workshop has two parts
1.Time trial (Brainstorming)
2. Open data and engagement mechanisms.
3. First Part - Time trial:
Find relevant Open Data for an App
1.Create your group (Max 3 people)
2.Select a city (i.e Barcelona, Valencia, London, etc)
3.Choose a category, and think about an app that uses City Open Data
• Mobility
• Social Services
• Health
Examples: App for multimodal mobility to combine bikes, bus routes,
underground paths and work schedule.
App for list and suscribe to available health services in my
neighbourhood
4. First Part - Time trial:
Find relevant Open Data for an App
4. Think about in a possible solution and data needed.
Using Desktops find relevant information (Open Data) to
solve the challenge have you chosen.
5. Prepare a lightning talk to expose your solution or
issues. Don't forget fill out the form!
