On November 21, 2018, an agreement was
signed with SBI Seguros Uruguay S.A. through
which the existence of the insured credit in our
favor is confirmed up to a limit of US $ 2:
500,000.-, included in the Asset. By this
agreement, the sum of US $ 613,500 has been
received on 11/29/2018, completing, in this
way, total advances for the sum of US $
750,000.

30TH SOUTH EAST ASIAN GAMES
Polo is proposed by the Philippines South East
Asian Games organising committee as a sport for
the 30th South East Asian Games in Philippines

• The Southeast Asian Games (also known as the SEA Games), is a multi-
sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of
Southeast Asia.
• Over 5,000 athletes participated in the 29th SEA Games in 2017.
• The games are under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games
Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee
(IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia.
• Started in 1959 and biannually ever since.
What are the South East Asian Games

• In 2017 the 29th South East Asian Games was hosted by Malaysia from
19th to 30th August 2017
• 39 sports were played for in this SEA Games.
• It was only the third time that polo had been included in the SEA
Games. The first was in 1983 in Singapore and the second was in 2007
in Thailand.
• Four countries contested the 29th SEA Games Polo in Malaysia. Order of
Merit in 2017 was:
1. Malaysia - Gold
2. Thailand - Silver
3. Brunei - Bronze
4. Singapore

• The United Polo Players Association of the
Philippines (UPPAP) has applied to join FIP.
Their application is on process.
• UPAP has proposed polo for the 30th SEA Games
in Philippines, to be held from 30th November to
9th December 2019.
• SEA Games would be held at the Manila Polo
Club, and in Calatagan, Philippines.
• Peter Abisheganaden is drafting the Technical
Handbook for approval by FIP, before it goes to
the Organizing Committee

100th FIP Ambassador’s Cup
On the 8th, 9th and 10th of
September this year the 100 FIP
Ambassadors Cup was held in
Helvetia Polo Club in San Pablo,
Brasil. An impressive gathering
of 20 teams participated in this
historic event.
After the three rounds, five
teams billed the competition
title.
Olhos D`Água, Hípica Polo,
Guabi Polo, Abacateiro e
Arpoador won their respective
zones in the international trade
title.

On the 8th, 9th and 10th of December
th2018 the 101 FIP Ambassadors Cup
was held in La Ensenada Polo Club in
Buenos Aires, Argentina. 16 teams
participated in this historic event.
