3D Secure (3DS) is the most common type of
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
3DS uses two or more elements to verify the information needed for secure online purchases. There
are three categories for authentication:
Knowledge
Something you know
e.g: password, PIN
Possession
Something you possess
e.g: mobile phone, smartwatch
Inherence
Something you are
e.g: fingerprint, facial recognition
