It gives me great pleasure to provide a reference for Mr. Farhan Khan with whom I have
worked with organising different events over the past 2 years.
Under the designation of Vice President-Community Welfare within the Union of Brunel
students, I am in charge of building community relations both on and off campus, through a
wide array of events.
I have known Farhan in the capacity of assistant event organizer for various events under
the banner of Union of Brunel Student. As a co-worker Farhan has proven to be diligent
and highly committed towards his work. His concrete organizational skills became
apparent when he helped organise one world week which celebrates diversity in Brunel.
Farhan is highly conscientious in planning, organization of projects and follow-though, he is
also known to deliver proactive solutions in highly stressful situations, these characteristics
were highly instrumental when he successfully organised “Brunel’s got talent” which was a
successful charity event in 2011. His enthusiastic volunteer work has won him various
awards at the annual Brunel University Volunteering Awards.
In addition, his unique blend of positive energy and humor makes him an ideal candidate to
deal with the worst of problematic situations. I have always known him respect authority
and treat others with respect.
Based on my experience working with him at Union of Brunel Students it is my pleasure to
