artisans and merchants) for forbidden.
BOSHIN WAR (27 Jan 1868-27 June 1869)
The Boshin war was also known as the Civil War of Japan or Japanese Revolution.
Boshin war was also knows as series of wars.
The Boshin war was fought between Japanese samurai and nobles against Edo Tokugawa
for return of shogun political power and Empire.
MEIJI EMPIRE (1868-1912)
Japan switched from a society that was isolated and under feudal rule into modern on
that was characterized by significant transformations its economics political, military
social and international affairs.
Meiji era ended at 1912
TAISHO ERA
Taisho Era Also Called Start of Political era. And Japan political democracy parties
comes into power.
Taisho era ended 1926.
SHOWA PERIOD
Showa period ruled the japan and shift Japanese empire in the political system into ultra
nationalisms, fascism and totalitarianism.
2. Japan was among the nations badly impacted by Great depression 1930s led by emperor
SHOWA.
Second Sino – Japanese War and World War – II
Second Sino – Japanese War also called Fall of Japan.
China joined World War II allies to stop Japan and finally Japan surrender in 1945 after
few years of war.
