Interest and Achievements
Member of the Durham University Business School Trading Society.
I was responsible for over seeing the markets division of the society, enhancing my role by
persuading my team members to look into finance based careers opportunities.
I also organized society presentations such as ‘how to use Bloomberg’.
Member of the DUIFG (Durham University Investment and Finance Group), through this I
widened my knowledge on the Financial Markets and on the different divisions in each bank.
Held a key analyst role withinthe Fund Team, which allowed me to research on the different
trading strategies and gain first hand exposure in the financial markets.
At the age of 14, I left home to study abroad in Belgium. I’m particularly proud of this
achievement as it allowed me to mature and develop quickly, making me more adaptable to
any new environment.
Through the reading of the Financial Times I augmenteda concern towards the global
economic and political matters of the host country, which helped me towards the
understanding of the global financial crisis.
