– No favouritism and be truthful and transparent

– Finish what you start
– Inculcate good time management habits
– Make time management a value
– Positive re-inforcement
• Ie reward good behaviour rather than spend too much
time and energy on punitive measures example:
reward attendance rather than punish absence

• Resolutions:
– Must be clarity on expected roles and functions
– Regular review of roles and responsibilities
(Perhaps through performance review?)
– Understand your professional role as an educator
– Display empathy
– Find within yourself intrinsic motivators
– Have absolute clarity on your goals
