Requirements- Qualifications:
 Minimumof 5 years’experience in4-axismachiningwithCNCmachine centers
 Experience with5-axis CNCmachine centerspreferred
 Must be able toread and interpretdrawings
 Must be able toread drawingsinmetricsystem
 Minimumof 5years experience withprogrammingCNCmachiningcentersandlathes
 Abilitytoreview CAD/CAMdesignsandblue prints withknowledgeof machiningof aluminum,
titaniumorsteel
 Experience withcontrol unitSiemens 840D a plus
 Abilitytobe organized,decisive,andable toworkwith minimal supervision
 Stronganalytical andteamproblemsolvingskillsrequired
 Team orientedwiththe abilitytocoordinate tasks,prioritize andcommunicate withinthe team
 Must be able toread andunderstandverbal andwritteninstructionsinEnglish
 ProficientinMSOffice software ,includingMSProject
 Experience withERPsoftware aplus
Dutiesand Responsibilities:
 Supportof calculationteamduringcalculation phase of new projects
 Analyze joborderandperformsthe necessarycalculationsandprogrammingof machining
processestoensure manufacturingof componentstospecifications
 Preparestoolingandfixturesformachiningprocess
 Pre-setsmachiningtools
 Installsof fixturesandtoolinginlathesandmillingcenters
 ReviewCAD/CAMprogramsandadjustaccordingly
 Monitorsall programs interpretdrawingsandspecificationsformachinedcomponentsto
evaluate propermanufacturingprocesses
 Perform requiredpreventive maintenance andassistmaintenance personnel duringrepairsor
maintenance cycles
 Inspectionof machinedcomponentsusinggagesandproperinspectiontools
 CommunicateswithQualityDepartmentandotherCNCTechniciansinthe launchandseries
phase to ensure efficientandproperset-up,programmingandcorrectionasneeded
 Maintainconditionof equipmentandworkarea inaccordance withthe plantwide 5S system
and BERGHOFF standards
 Identifysafetyissuesinthe production andotherareasof the plantgivingrecommendationsof
solutionsforimprovement
 Othersas required
