- MONTHLY COASTAL CLEAN-UP DRIVE
- Held once a month with the Purok Youth
Leaders, Youth Volunteers and Barkada Kontra Druga
Members of LNHS. This was implemented to promote
Brgy. Poblacion Boardwalk and Eco-tourism Park thru
removing all eyesores like plastic stack up in mangrove
roots and eliminating plastics, pieces of cellophane, and
other non-biodegradable waste in the entire coastal
areas of Poblacion.
- DRUG AWARENESS AND PREVENTION
INFORMATION AND EDUCATION CAMPAIGN
- Initiated to To discuss and record how drugs can
impact youth health, family life, work, and education.

ACTIVITIES COMPLETED
- IEC ON COVID- 19 VACCINATION FOR THE YOUTH
- This was done in order to encourage the youth to have themselves
vaccinated not only for their protection but for their family and the people
in the community and most importantly educate them about the good
benefits of the vaccine and educate them so they will not be affected by
the virus and fake news that is spreading in the social media.
- SK OF POBLACION YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

- This was initiated thru the initiative of the council in order to develop
solutions to real community and youth issues and challenges and to take
ownership of their development and discover that leadership is an ongoing
learning process.

- NATIONAL ARBOR DAY
-This was done as participation on PROCLAMATION NO. 643, S.2004
AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 396 DATED JUNE 2, 2003, ENTITLED
“ENJOINING THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES,
INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS,
PRIVATE SECTOR, SCHOOLS, CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS AND THE CITIZENRY IN
TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY AND DECLARING JUNE 25, 2003 AS PHILIPPINES
ARBOR DAY”.

- 2021 YOUTH PROFILING
- This was done in order to identify in-school and out-of-school young people,
update the list of active youths that are present in the community in
addressing a variety of issues that include education reform, livelihood
development, community strengthening, and peace and security..
- Purok Youth Visitation
- This was initiated with the hope of the Council to relate to the parents of
youth, discover the background and context of young people's lives, or
minister effectively those who are affected by dysfunctional families and
penetrate the environment that youth spend so much of their time during the
Covid-19 Pandemic. For the Council believed that projects and activities will
not be fully implemented not until Katipunan ng Kabataan youth leaders will
begin to involve themselves in a vital area of the lives of young people in the
community.

- 2021 LUGAIT CHESS TOURNAMENT AND CHESS
HUB OPENING
- This was made and being implemented to give skill-exposure, and enhance
individual talents of young-adults in field of chess Therefore, activities such as
this are part of the plans and programs of the Sports Development of
Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Poblacion as this activity is being geared in
preparation of for the upcoming inter school tournaments and the discovery of
new talents in the grassroots level.

- SK BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2021
- Its objective was to give skill-exposure and enhances individual talents of
young-adults in field of badminton. Therefore, activities such as this are part
of the plans and programs of the Sports Development of Sangguniang
Kabataan of Brgy. Poblacion as this activity is being geared in preparation of
for the upcoming inter school tournaments and the discovery of new talents in
the grassroots level.

The program aimed improve memory, concentration, and analytical skills that add to
youth’s overall mental enrichment and to promote communication and teamwork.
Providing people an incentive to work with each other to win at games helps them
interact better with others at their workspaces or in their day-to-day lives offline.

- INFORMATION EDUCATION CAMPAIGN ON
ORDINANCE NO.1 SERIES OF 2019
-SK POBLACION hopes to spread awareness on the effect of Public Display
of Affection (PDA) though it is an act of physical intimacy but in some instances, PDA
can project an image in a negative light and may end up getting a bad reputation.
Couples who hold hands are adorable but when it comes to kissing or touching one
another inappropriately that is highly unacceptable and should be done privately. Such
displays of affection can set a bad example for children, make others feel uncomfortable
and for some reasons would be the cause of teenage pregnancy.

SK POBLACION holds to the saying “Fellowship makes us STRONGER” that
no matter where we are, fellowship provides us with strength. Being around with each
other gives us the chance to learn and grow.
