INTRODUCTION
According to Bajpai (2021), healthy snack segment has grown
exponentially, especially since the outbreak of the pandemic globally.
Consumers are becoming more health-conscious, demand for snacks
which are nutritious yet tasty is increasing.
The researchers came up with the idea of producing chips using
papaya as the main ingredient in making healthy chips and to
introduce its benefits to the market.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
 In 1853, Chef George Crum, a Native American/African American,
accidentally invented the first potato chip.
 In 1900, potato chips were simply thinly sliced and fried potatoes
that were served with vinegar.
 In 1966, Universal Robina Corporation was the first introduced the
chips in the Philippines.
COMPANY NAME AND BUSINESS NAME
 Green’s Snacks Company is the name chosen by the proponents and
registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
 '‘Papaya Chips’’ will be the business, and proponents use papaya as
the main raw material in the product.

Green Snacks Company is a general partnership in which all members
are equally responsible for legal and financial matters.
All partners are involved in decision-making and have the authority
to enter into binding agreements on behalf of the company.
Co-owners are also responsible for any damages, losses, debts,
litigation, or other unfavorable actions taken against the company.
BUSINESS STRUCTURE AND CULTURE
 Partnerships use the line organizational structure, which is
distinguished by a direct relationship in which authority is
conveyed.
 It is effective in transmitting communication from managers to
workers, allowing for quick implementation of decisions and
handling of emergencies.

As a healthy alternative to any unhealthy chips, papaya was used as
the main ingredient with many great different flavors that consumers
will surely enjoy.
Papaya is high in Vitamin A and C, which is required for good
eyesight, a strong immune system, clear and healthy skin and hair,
and resistance to infections.
Also, papaya is low in calories, which helps consumers avoid gaining
weight.

Green Snacks products are intended for students, teenagers, children
and adults and because Papaya chips can be directly consumed and
purchased by individual customers.
The proponents chose to locate their business and market the
product at Capas, Tarlac.
Also, papaya is low in calories, which helps consumers avoid gaining
weight.

  • 3. INTRODUCTION According to Bajpai (2021), healthy snack segment has grown exponentially, especially since the outbreak of the pandemic globally. Consumers are becoming more health-conscious, demand for snacks which are nutritious yet tasty is increasing. The researchers came up with the idea of producing chips using papaya as the main ingredient in making healthy chips and to introduce its benefits to the market.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND  In 1853, Chef George Crum, a Native American/African American, accidentally invented the first potato chip.  In 1900, potato chips were simply thinly sliced and fried potatoes that were served with vinegar.  In 1966, Universal Robina Corporation was the first introduced the chips in the Philippines.
