5. Tiger Head Badge
[sterling silver]
- hand carved positive in machine-able blue wax
- investment (lost-wax) cast blue wax piece into sterling silver
- spent 10+ hours sanding, polishing, and applying a pin-texture finish

6. AngryGorillaBottleOpener
This gorilla is able to rip off screw-off tops with his ferocious teeth, and pop
off regular caps with a flick of his cow-lick hairdo. He screams attitude!

7. Prosthetic thumb designed on a
team of 3. The user switches
between modes with the push of
a button:
1: thumb bends in response to
index bending
2: turning a dial flexes/extends
thumb
3: moves thumb into full flexion
and holds
4: moves thumb into full
extension and holds
- Thumb: Formed by a laser-cut acrylic skeleton,
surrounded by oven-baked clay, molded and sanded
by myself
- Glove: Attached to the prosthetic for support. Also
sports a flex sensor sewn onto the back of the index
finger
- Cables: Thread through the thumb to the servos that
pull it into flexion
- Spring Steel: Lines the back of the thumb, provides
extension force

8. Sterling Silver and Bronze Statement Necklace
- forms hand carved out of machine-able blue wax
- smaller form molded using silicone, and copies produced via hot wax injection into the silicone mold
- investment (lost-wax) cast blue wax pieces into sterling silver and antique bronze, respectively
- silver soldered the four pieces together
- spent 15+ hrs sanding, polishing, and applying textured finish

My Initials Pendant Sterling silver soldered to copper ring, matte finish with black patina letters
- silver forms first hand carved out of wax and then investment cast into silver
- finished by hand with sanding and polishing

Challenged to create a label for myself, I turned to the famous LOVE statue found in my home city of Philadelphia. I’ve always prided
myself on the strong love and devotion I feel and express towards family and friends, and wanted my label to signify my lovable
nature as well as my hometown.
