Thisis a letterof recommendationforEricManzanares.I have knownEric for five yearsashisemployee
and mostimportanthisco-worker.Ericwas mysalesmanagerat PolygonNorthwestCompany,he hired
me in 2010. I wasreferredtotalkto Eric by a fellow co-workerwhohadjustleftthe previoushome
buildingcompanythatIwas currentlyworkingforhoweveratthe time I waslookingfora change. All it
tookwas one meetingwithEricto knowthiswasthe type of manI wantedtoworkfor!
Eric has been/isatremendousleader,I’ve learnedmore thanIcouldhave imaginedthroughhim.He
alwayssetlogical goalsandexpectationsforhissalesstaff eventhoughitwassometimesastretch.He
helpedfindawayto getit done!He setthe overall guideline of whatthe taskat handwas butallowed
each of hisemployeestoexpresstheirindividuality withinthe guideline byprovidingsome freedom.
Thisallowedeachof usto experiencechallengesand thenhe wasthe firstto recognize usfora jobwell
done.Eric wasable to stepback and see the personinside eachof hisemployee’s,itwasmore thanjust
the role we playedat work…he caredforus. He hada large groupof people tomanage andhe was able
to give the nudge tothose whoneededit,give the confidence booststoothers,oreventhe occasional
“kickin the pants” to a fewdependingonwhatwasneeded.Nomatterwhatthough,we all hadsuch
great respectforhim.Eric gave me a sense of purpose,encouragedmyinput,andwasalwayswillingto
helpcreate opportunitytohelp me/useachgrow.Mostof all Eric empoweredme/ustodothe right
thing.He createda strongteamand taught ushow eachof our effortsimpactedthe people we worked
with,for,and the buyers whose liveswe were changinginapositive way.
