I have known Eric for close to 30 years and have nothing but positive things to say. He was in
community college and dating my oldest daughter at the time. They later married. After that he
attended and graduated from the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey. They have
twogrown, successfulchildren. Eric recently retired from the Coast Guard after a varied and positive
career.
I have known and observed his involvement and guidance with his family as well as his progress as
a professional member of our armed forces. I am most impressed with his accomplishments as a
husband, father and member of the Coast Guard. He has come a long way from an immature young
man to the accomplished professional he is today.
My respect forhis hard workand achievements is great. There is no doubt in my mind that he willbe
an excellent addition to your organization.
Eric possesses technicalskills related toaship’s operations. He has excellentnavigational and specific
boating knowledge enabling him to be part of any maritime operation. He is a definite asset in that
regard. In addition he is a leader and works well with a diverse group of people. He has shown his
crisis/emergency management abilities in coordinating actions with those with whomhe served. He
can initiate action but also is a firmproponent of the chain of command. He meets all challenges well.
He has a strong personal character. His personal code of conduct leads him to make correctchoices,
benefiting others first. Iam highly satisfied with him as a family member and I know he is held in high
regard by his peers and those with whom he served.
