I have known Eric Caron for the past three years. In his capacity as Technology Specialist at
Holy Spirit Episcopal School, Mr. Caron has demonstrated a talent for trouble shooting,
diagnosing, and correcting computer problems on classroom computers as well as in our two
computer labs. Mr. Caron was also responsible for updating computer operating systems,
installing program patches as they became available, installing new computers into the network
and maintaining older computers in classrooms.
Along with his technical skills, Mr. Caron demonstrated talent as a technology teacher.
Teaching kindergarten through eighth grade, Mr. Caron was able to address the different
understanding level of each grade. His ability to break down complex operations into easily
understandable steps ensured student understanding and success. Mr. Caron also worked with
members of our faculty, individually or in groups, to help them become more computer literate.
As a teacher of 37 years and the former Technology Specialist at St. John’s Episcopal School in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, I have been impressed with Mr. Caron as a technician, a teacher
and as a man of good character.
