Adjectives vs Adverbs
Adjectives and adverbs are grammatical units.
Most adverbs are formed by adding –ly to the
adjective:
Adjective: definite/commercial/real/total
Adverb: definitely/commercially/totally
Some adjectives have the same form as adverbs:
hard early late fast straight
He is a hard worker. (adjective)
He works hard. (adverb)

Uses
We use adjective:
1. To give more information about a noun:
We need careful operators.

She is fluent in English.

We use an adverb:
1. To give more information about a verb
She speaks English fluently.
