SEMINAR TOPIC: Six stroke engine
Six stroke engine is the engine which completes its working strokes in six process. The performance of
this engine is better than four stroke engine. It has ability to sustain high torque & high load transmission at
less fuel consumption.
PROJECT TOPIC: (1) Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT).
CVT is a transmission that can seamlessly through an infinite number of effective gear ratio between
maximum and minimum values. This contrasts with other mechanical transmissions that offer a fixed
number of gear ratios. The flexibilities of a CVT allow the input shaft to maintain a constant angular velocity.
A CVT usually has a low efficiency of 80%, but it can provide a cheap automatic gear solution by enabling
the engine to run it at its most efficient RPM for a range of vehicle speed, allowing a small car to have an
acceptable fuel efficiency at low cost.

(2) Thermoelectric Cooler Operated with candle.
Thermo electric cooler is a DC type cooler which is operated by a peltier module. Peltier module is a
thermocouple based device which works on thermoelectric effect. The Thermoelectric Effect is the direct
conversion of temperature differences to electric voltage and vice-versa. A thermoelectric device/peltier
module creates voltage when there is a temperature different on each side. Thermoe effect can be used to
generate electricity, measure temperature or change the temperature of objects. In peltier module one is
hot side and one cold. The module generates power to drive a motor and the motor fan/air flow will cool the
upper heat sink. Higher temperature difference => increased output power => increased motor RPM =>
increased air flow. In this project we used one module of 12v,6amp,68watt specification of output. The
cooling effect did not effective because lack of water pump. The temperature was given through a
candle.
