75. Kedaireka Program Matching Fund
Equnix builds bridges of communication, consultation and
collaboration with universities in the application of Open
Source in the business world. Through the Matching Fund
Program, Equnix proposed cooperation with the topic "Open
Source Excellence Research Center for Business". In carrying
out this program, Equnix makes several contributions:
1. 3 Trainings
2. Focus Group Discussion
3. Industrial visits to 3 companies (PLN, Artajasa, BTN) and
goods contributions to support the collaboration in the
form of laptops. More than 25 lecturers are involved in
this collaborative activity.
Feedback:
1. While working with Equnix, we gained a lot of insight that
we couldn't get from any other book. As an Open Source
service provider, Equnix is very open in sharing
knowledge in their field with us academics. In fact, we
were invited to attend a meeting between Equnix and
one of its clients to see field conditions directly.
2. The programs that have been implemented so far have
really helped us in compiling lecture material that is
more relevant to industry needs. It is hoped that this
collaboration can continue, build independent research
centers by maximizing the use of Open Source and be
able to contribute to this nation in forming a generation
that has advantages in terms of hard skills and soft skills.
