2. Questionnaire
• We implemented a questionnaire
survey in order to gather
information about what our target
market would most like to see in a
horror film.
• We also surveyed people outside of
our target market in order to gage
whether or not those outside of our
target market would be interested
in our film and whether we should
market our film to more than one
demographic of people.
• We also explored our target
audience through our secondary
research.
3. Story Board
• A story board is required to
ensure that the crew are
aware of the shots which must
be achieved upon the shoot.
• The shot number and type are
listed as well as the shot time
with an illustration.
4. Camera Shot List
• The camera shot list
documents each of the shots
which needs to be recorded.
• The shot number, type and
movement are listed as well as
any additional notes.
5. Talent Release
• A talent release must be
implemented when producing
a media product in order to
ensure that the participants
(actor etc.) are aware that
after shooting the footage is
not their property and that all
of their rights in regards to the
footage are gone.
• The footage now belongs to
the producer.
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
6. Personal Release
• A personal release is needed in
order to ensure that the
participant can not make
additional demands post
filming.
• If the participant is under 18
then an additional signature is
required from their legal
guardian.

hihhhhhhhhhhhhh
7. Location Contract
• The location contract states
the time period of which the
shoot will occur.
• This ensures that the location
owner can not try to limit
shooting time.
hihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
8. Location Release
• A location release determines
the amount that must be paid
to the location provider in
order to use the location.
• The times and dates of
shooting are stated to prevent
location use which does not
comply to the contract.
9. Risk Assessment
• The purpose of the risk
assessment is to document
possible risks in order for the
necessary action to prevent
the risk to be carried out.
• An example of this would be
moving objects out of the way
in the location to prevent trip
hazards.
• The person responsible for
amending the risk or taking
necessary precautions will be
listed in the document.
10. Budgeting Proposal
• A budgeting proposal is
implemented in order to make
sure that projects do not go
over a certain budget.
• A project will have a set
budget to ensure that it still
gains a profit upon release.
11. Edit Log
• An edit log is required to
document the editing process
and keep a record of which
effects are being used on each
shot.
12. Call Sheet
• A call sheet is used to make
sure that all necessary people
and equipment are on set at
the correct location at the
correct times.
13. Success of Documents
• The documents implemented in our project each
carried out their desired roll.
• The only documents which we strayed from
we’re the story board and camera shot list as we
decided to add some more shots into our project
in order to extend it’s length and better reflect
our inspiration from “The Se7en” and “The Blair
Witch Project”.
