Manufacturing Engineering Intern May 2016-September 2016
 Oversaw a project in Visiprise to allow operators to access serial numbers for laser tags more
efficiently—saved over $15,000 a year through this initiative
 Installed a new laser printer in Wheel Assembly—refurbished printing for the laser tags
 Compared numerous companies that could provide UTC with wheel masking for the paint booths;
Included gathering information on their reliability and expense—welcomed a more sustainable
way for painting wheels and reduced masking waste
 Compiled time studies for improvement of work flow—studies allowed a basis for time
management and proper placement, along with appropriate quantity of operators per shift
 Tested paint pens as a new primer application to prime bolt holes on wheel halves—improved
process flow of the wheel halves

Orientation Leader August 2015-August 2016
 Responsible for knowing campus resources and all activities taking place during orientation week
 Guided 30+ first year students during orientation week and ensured their attendance for the
mandatory events—provided a welcoming experience for first years and allowed for an easy

 Assisted with recruitment for the following year’s orientation leaders—informed future orientation

 Gathered and analyzed data for Environmental, Health, and Safety decibel level initiative in all
areas of the plant—data used to meet government standards of noise levels permitted in industry
 Maintained compliance boards and job hazard analysis for each department—informed workers
of hazards in their area and their contribution to safety in the work environment
 Used organizational tactics to file paperwork, such as hot work permits
 Assisted in 5S activities—favored more visual tactics to make work areas well-kept
