Surviving just doesn`t come naturally with leadership
 and tasks.

To survive, you will need basic supplies. The most
useful supplies are listed in the following.

Axe
Tool box
First aid kit
Mosquito netting
Hammer and nails
Rope
Water tanks
Canned food
Cooking pots
Blankets
Lighters
Pocketknife, any
kind of Knife
(Supplies needed, cont’d)

   Trees
   Large leaves
Large sturdy piece to use in shelter or
to protect from the sun (ie. Large
   plastic sheet, piece of fuselage,
   leaves tied together, etc)
If you have all these supplies, you be
good to go. But it’s not just supplies
that will help, there’s more. You need
to be careful, you never know what
can come and get. You need take steps
to survive like:
   Stay with more than yourself
   Keep knives with you
If your hunting, go with another
     person
   Be friendly
   Have some patrolling your shelter
Making sure you and everyone else
     is contributing
   Share equally
   Help anyone in need
   Keep your leader happy
   Have a positive attitude
What not to do if you want to survive.

Step one: Do NOT leave the fire unattended.

You will have either no fire or too
much fire. You could risk losing a
chance for rescue or end up with
                                      everything crisped to a cinder.

     Make sure fires are con-
     stantly being checked and
     properly maintained.

Step two: Do not rush to make ramshackle shelters.

Being stranded on an island
with a flimsy and weak
shelter without adequate
room is not going to be
beneficial.
Step 3: do not leave your food unattended.

 Leaving your
 food unattended
 and in the open
 can cause it to
 either be
 spoiled, dirtied,
 or eaten/stolen
 by animals.

Step 4: Don’t ask too many questions.

This is not a classroom debate,
stop arguing with every little de-
tail. If plans of survival are
   drawn reasonably, stop trying to
alter it to change your needs; it
   is NOT all about you.
