Demonstration well
DESCRIPTION
The Enhanced Casing Installation (ECI) directional
casing drill system uses HSCT as unique see-
through shoe track section. The HSCT allows
logging tools (M&LWD) to remain inside the casing
while still being able to make measurements. This
casing drilling with HSCT technology results in a
minimum stick out below the casing offering
excellent stabilization with a minimum risk of stuck
pipe. The system drilled successfully in a 200-
meter-deep demonstration well in the Czech
Republic. The HSCT was handled by the rig without
problems.
