If you open the library’s home page and the school’s AR list in another window, you can easily look up titles and place requests to have them reserved for you at the library of your choice. There is a variety of information available on the home page. You can find a library’s location and hours, search the calendar of events, search for books, access your account, and log in to the databases. - Resources for Children can be found be hovering over “Using the Library” and then selecting “Children” Transitional Phrase: I would like to quickly show you a couple of the resources and databases that are useful for students and their caregivers/educators
- When you click on the Library for Children You can access numerous resources for children. As you can see, there is a list of resources broken down by subject. - Your library card gives you access to tutor.com. Simply access the database with your library card and PIN, and create a tutor.com username. Live tutoring is available 3-11pm, 7 days a week. Assistance is available in over 40 subjects, including Math, Science, Reading, Social Studies, etc Tutor.com is a resource that can be used by students and learners of all ages. The resource also offers a resume drop-off service where you may receive input on your resume within 24 hours. There are 49 libraries, with some of the locations open 7 days a week. There are bookmobiles that provide services around the county, and our fabulous website is available 24/7.
