3. First, check the status of your SunPass
The SunPass
transponder
cover will
normally be
behind the
rearview mirror of
your rental car.

SunPass

car, turn the
transponder on
by sliding the
tab downwards.

must touch the
glass of the
windscreen to
communicate
with the sensor
in the toll lane.

transponder is
held away from
the screen in
the body of the
cover.
8. How do I pay for the tolls?
When you use the SunPass system in your hire
car in Florida the cost of the tolls are
automatically added to your rental agreement
as you go. You will also be charged a facility
fee which is currently $16.75 per rental month.
This will all be billed to your credit card.
