2. What is TutorTalk?
TutorTalk is a blog for the NCVPS Peer Tutoring Center that provides
educational resources on topics such as time management, leadership, and
planning for your future.
TutorTalk is comprised entirely of submissions by tutors. Everything posted is
something created by PTC tutors for the benefit of other peer tutors, teachers,
students, and educational leaders.

12. Do I Get Service Hours?
YES YOU DO!! :)
If you find yourself waiting for a student on Upswing or for a response back
from your Virtual Buddy, you can help the TutorTalk team with any of the
tasks mentioned on the previous slide.
You can log all of the hours that you spend on behalf of TutorTalk.
13. What if my spelling/grammar is bad?
Don’t worry about spelling and grammar! That is what the co-editors are for! We
are here as a resource for spelling and grammar and will make the proper
corrections after you send us your submission.
Writers and novelists may not always have the best spelling or grammar, but
they always have editors to fix the minor details for them. What’s important
isn’t the spelling or grammar; the main ideas and messages that your writing
conveys is what matters.
14. Who should I contact?
Please notify the TutorTalk co-editors that you have completed this training
module if you want to begin helping the TutorTalk team!
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to email the co-editors at
any time!
