In 2015 I joined Dr Doron Naveh's group at the faculty of engineering at Bar Ilan University in
Israel. Naveh's group combines theoretical methods, synthesis of materials and nanofabrication
techniques to fabricate electronic devices based on two-dimensional materials as Graphene and
Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMD) for digital electronics, photodetectors and spintronic.
In 2011 I joined Prof. Michelle Simmons group in the University of New South Wales [UNSW] in
Sydney, Australia. Prof. Simmons is the director of the center of excellence for Quantum
Computation and Communication Technology. The Simmons group is world leading in atomic
engineering and atoms manipulation using Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) lithography. In
Simmons's group I gained my expertise in design and fabrication of atomic scale devices in bottom-
up and top-down nanotechnology approach in clean-room environment. Those devices are
fabricated and measured for the research of quantum information processing.
In 2010 I graduated my PhD studies. My dissertation advisors were Prof. Yishay Manassen from
physics school, whose group specializes in scanning probe microscope, and Prof. Roni Z. Shneck
from Material Science school in Ben Gurion university, Israel. My Research thesis dealt with
mechanical properties of surface and nanoparticles.
In all my projects, I have been responsible for designing and simulating the device architecture,
fabricating the devices myself and process them in a clean-room environment. For that I have used
many standard semiconductor fabrication techniques including: photolithography, electron beam
lithography, wet/dry etching, Thermal oxide growth, ellipsometry, metal deposition and more. I
developed modifications to the standard recipe to fit my experimental demands as needed. I have
extensive experience in operating scanning electron microscope [SEM], atomic force microscope
[AFM], and especially in operating UHV Scanning Tunneling Microscope [STM] for atomic imaging
and atomic manipulation.
Over the course of my career I dealt with various research projects. My interest in them is the major
technological and technical challenges involved in them. I have good technical understanding and
capabilities, which driving me, along with my curiosity, to engage in experimental physics.
