far as possible, the causes of hazards inherent in the working environment.

Bus Service for Employees (Safety & Health)
• NKCPL became the 1st vendor to start Bus Service for its
employees with the main objective of bringing employees from TSL
Gate to Shop Floor and vice-versa.
Bus Service was introduced at Central Hub,
CSD in the month of November, 2011

• NKCPL organised a workshop on “Safety & Operational Excellence” to
find out the measures to prevent incidents/accident at RMM by
doing Root Cause Analysis with the help of Team Work and proper
Communication between Vendor Partners.

Driver Training Programme from “Clean-Air Asia”
(Environment)
• NKCPL conducted a programme to address the issue of environmental
sustainability by reducing carbon emissions from vehicles and increasing
fuel efficiency of the vehicle used by the company.
• NKCPL committed towards reducing carbon emissions by accumulating
Carbon Foot Printing Data.

Drinking Water Facility at Birarajpur Railway Station (CSR)
• NKCPL installed a drinking water facility at Birarajpur Railway
Station to provide relief not only to the passengers but also local
people who had no access to clean drinking water.

Implementation of 100 MT Capacity Vehicle (Logistics)
• NKCPL has introduced a 100 MT capacity vehicle to reduce
congestion and increase number of trips between mills. This has not
only improved operational efficiency but also impacted positively
towards Safety ensuring less man movement & vehicle movement
and Environment by producing lower fuel emissions per trip.
