For this assignment you will post a biology-related news article.
1. Find, select, and examine current scholarly biology research to gain familiarity with recent trends and
developments in the field within the last five years.
2. Briefly describe the research and key findings of the article/ study.
3. Precisely discuss the research implications in our lives.
4. In your opinion, do you think the research will benefit or harm individuals/ communities/ ecosystems?
5. To sum up, what do you feel you have learned worth knowing from this article?
Also make sure that your article describes an actual study that has already been completed. This way
the study will have a hypothesis, experiment, results and conclusions. EACH post must be UNIQUE and
tell a different story to get credit! Only the first person to post a specific story will get credit.

Write 2-3 paragraphs. The first paragraph (50-100 words) should summarize the article addressing the
following: who did the research, what question were they asking and what experimental system did

statement as to why you think the article is significant for the general public.
