The process of designing contemporary
school was acknowledging the uniqueness
in each classrooms. The classrooms were
handeled as individual unit inhabiting a
greater shell (school). The design for each
classroom dictated the circulation outside.
Here is an overview of three units (class-
rooms) that integrated hologramic tech-
nology, functional needs, proper material-
ity and light sources.

The ART classroom played with lighting
as a source of creating different moods for
creativity. A part of the classroom puntures
to the exterior to gain good natural lighting
The HISTORY classroom is a digital time
line with the use of IPads. The spiral con-
cepts come from the saying that “history
repeats itself”. Students come scan the par-
codes and start their individual classes.

The SCIENCE classroom uses the 4D cine-
ma technique in order to get a visual under-
standing of the living organism. Students
go throw digital journeys in the human
mind and body,

The design of LINE cafe originated from se-
ries of handrawn perspectives. The design’s
concept is to create a dynamic and energet-
ic atmosphere. This was done by creating
continuas transparent acrylic pipes all over

The plans, elevations and axonometric
drawings were built from the perspectives.
These drawings were photoshoped to add
the feeling of materiality and the to identify
light sources.

This project required designing an out-
door seating in the American University
of Sharjah for students. The seating is
a series of interconnected units. These
units use solar energy to generate us-
er-friendly fans.

The client is a woman in her thirties and
who lives alone in Ras Alkhaima. The
house’s design is a result of handrawn
perspectives. The house is divided ino a
living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and
a bathroom.
