Think your child is too young to help around the house? Actually, with the obvious exception of infants, even toddlers can become very aware that they are very capable of helping the family with house-hold chores. The real objective is to allow children to develop a sense of contribution to the family and establish an increased feeling of worth and independence–both, of which, boost self-confidence.
