I COMMIT MYSELF TO…(SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT OR OTHER COMMITMENTS)
As a member of the Executive Board of our Rotary Club Hamburg Alstertal I am responsible for the
educational and vocational service projects in our club: it is our aim on the basis of our own professional
experience and our network to open up chances, give orientation, support and advice to all young people,
irrespective of their provenance and background. In this context our prevailing attention is to ensure that the
young people we are supporting respect values in their own attitude and in the course of the development of
their identity. It is our very special concern to ensure an outlook and give perspectives to these young people,
both by providing information to continuing educational programs and training courses, and practical
assistance to their professional orientation.
WHAT I LIKE …(INTERESTS, HOBBIES,…)
In the very first place, my family and my friends. Furthermore, I enjoy reading, mainly biographies and

INTERCULTURAL EXPERIENCES
If there’s something I really am not short of, that is intercultural experience! I was born and grew up in Buenos
Aires, Argentina. My father is German from Berlin, my mother Bulgarian from Sofia. From Kindergarten until
high school leave examinations I attended an English school in Buenos Aires, ending my school education with
the Argentine and the Cambridge High School Certificates. I continued my academic education at the
University of Buenos Aires graduating with a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biomedicine. I took up basic scientific
research activities in Buenos Aires, in Tubingen, and in Munich. During my research career I attended
international Scientific Meetings, holding lectures on my research field, among others, in France, Spain, USA,
Hungary, Israel, and Ireland. In the course of my professional engagement as managing partner and franchisee
of a French children’s fashion business I held an intensive contact to the mother company in France and was
repeatedly on business trips there various times a year. My executive search business gives me the chance to
work with and counsel national and international companies and interview and coach candidates from all over
the world. In terms of my story-boarding activity, I am mostly in charge of customer projects in the USA.
