Relevant Business Experience:
Supply Chain professional with extensive experience in evaluating corporate import/export
compliance and control procedures, and conditioning factors taking into account recent
changes in US export control rules, regulations, and policies, and then making
amendments deemed necessary to existing corporate policies, desk procedures, and work
instructions.
Reviewed and interpreted all export regulations and guidelines. Developed checklists for
restricted party and end-use screenings to ensure compliance.
Accustomed to conducting training and spot audits at various client locations to ensure
proper export control measures are being implemented across the corporate hierarchy,
paying attention to the ITAR and EAR requirements for the space and defense industries.
Served as the single point of contact for export compliance issues and served as liaison

to ensure the prevention of unwarranted technology transfers and compliance with ITAR
and EAR guidelines for a federal government international space agency. Developed a
framework and best practices to address technical data control and to provide assistance.
Advised Space Station Freedom program on specific transactional inquiries related to
exportation of assembly, sub-assembly, equipment, hardware, software, and firmware
products listed under the ITAR Categories. Supported the program by developing national
