follow a story line to relate to either reality or exaggerated reality for our entertainment and awareness. However
films come under categorized genres which show us settings of the environment, music, characters, type ext.
For example Horror, Comedy. Thriller, Sci-Fi, Romance, Action and many more.
2. Horror
How is horror presented?
Horror films normally create a feeling of tension in the room to create a scary, excited and tense scene to the audience.
The aim of horror is to intend the capacity to create a frightening atmosphere of either supernatural or non-supernatural
to show eye dazzling things. Sometimes certain horrors can be a documentary relived through a film to show the
audience what could actually be happening in the world however his film will be exaggerated for the audiences
entertainment. In history when producers were to first make horror films the purpose was to create a entertainment
project to frighten the audience whereas now, horror films have gone down into depth where not only is the audience
being frightened but the story could relate back so much to reality that it is more effective.

one tells us a story of 35 year old Daniel whom lives in a haunted house with his terrified family in 1975. The story is

Number two is a series of films which carries on a supernatural film of 7 parts called Chucky, Chucky is doll that comes
alive and kills people however in the film chucky is presented very aggressively and scary which frightens the audience
through camera movements and the environment

Thriller is a genre of literature which allows us to view scenery through excitement, tension and doubt to create
entertainment over storyline

These are romantic love stories recorded in visual media and focuses on passion and emotion. It has a romantic
involvement with two main characters and their journey of love, whether it ends well or bad. Occasionally they face
obstacles in their relationships such as finances, physical illness and different forms of discrimination. It normally
explores the themes of love at first sight. Romantic drama, the plot usually revolves around an obstacle which prevents
deep and true romantic love between two people. Music is often employed to indicate the emotional mood, creating an
atmosphere of greater insulation for the couple. Chick flick is a term often associated with romance films as many are
targeted to a female audience. Romantic thriller is a genre of film which has a storyline combining elements of the
romance film and the thriller genre.
7. Sci-Fi
All of these films include core elements of science fiction, but it is able to cross into other genres such as drama,
mystery, action, horror, fantasy and comedy. This is the least popular genre of film because people feel as if it is boring.
They use bird eye shot, these kind of shots are used in Sci-Fi's so that you are able to understand the wider world in
which the movies takes place. They add close ups to put emphasis of the characters emotions.They often portray the
dangerous and sinister nature of knowledge. Science fiction often expresses the potential of technology to destroy
humankind through Armageddon-like events, wars between worlds. The most memorable blending of science fiction
and horror was in Universal Studios' mad scientist masterpiece, Frankenstein. These types of films have very
imaginative content such as futuristic settings. Science fiction elements normally consist of paranormal abilities such as
mind control.
