I have worked with Doris in her capacity as Account Associate for Athena Health. Doris is
extremely organized and efficient in her duties. Her duties include, but are not limited to, pre-
registration processes for Athena Health and the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Prior
authorization for services for Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, the sale of Athena Health
systems to physician practices, training physicians and staff on the use of Athena Health
coordinator, current knowledge of procedure and diagnosis codes per guidelines, insurance
verifications utilizing appropriate websites as well as conversations with the appropriate
companies and customer service.
I also worked with Doris during a total system upgrade for Athena Health. Her knowledge and
training allowed her to be able to promptly and effectively assist the hospital facility and all
physician practices with training and problem solving during this time. She was prompt to
respond to all needs and able to assist in correcting any errors immediately. She was
professional in her approach and effective when working with her superiors, co-workers and
clients.
I do highly recommend Doris for any position for which she aspires. She is fully capable of
learning new processes while utilizing her skills learned in any previous position. She will be an
