2. WHAT WE DO
HIPPS
Single valve or double valve, skid mounted or stand alone, pneumatic, hydraulic or line gas
operated.
We have operated valves 5” API 5000 @ <2 seconds closed, 20” ANSI 1500 valves @ <1
second closed up to 36” ANSI 600 valves on crude lines to <4 seconds closed.
Valves are metal or PEEK seated, trunnion, full bore and piggable. A plug and play device,
add electrical power and communications links and it is ready to protect your system.
Packages are SIL III certified by an independent auditor with start up and commissioning ser-
vices offered worldwide. CTQ can also maintain the systems and make necessary upgrades as
new technology emerges on the marketplace.
SIL II stand alone pneumatic logic 1OO2 or 2OO3 also available operating on line gas.

FUEL SKIDS
CTQ Fuel Skids are Engineered to Order and are designed to supply natural gas, and or fuel
oil for fired heaters, natural gas turbines and engines. They can protect from liquid slugs, sol-
ids (< 0.1 microns) and liquid aerosols. These fuel gas skids provide pressure reduction, me-
tering, ESD, DCS control, steam heat trace, and electric heat trace.
The systems can be PLC controlled at the skid designed to your specifications using fail safe
architecture, using single or double PLC and I/O.
This HIPPS skid for 36” ANSI 600 on crude line. Has a less than 4 second closing, it
was staged to reduce hammer effect on line. Weight and size restrictions on end des-
tination required a complete assembly for FAT, disassembly to ship to site, reassem-
bled on site and then a SAT with our personnel.
