3. ABSTRACT
• As we know that the solar panels are exposed to atmospheric conditions like
wind.
• Remote controlled solar panel cleaning mechanism can helps the plant
maintenance staff to work comfortably and effectively.
• Not only for solar panels maintenance can it also be used for multiple
applications like black and white boards cleaning which is a comfort for
teachers.
• The proposed system is cost-effective as it requires a simple upgrade on the
existing system than a complete replacement.
• The construction and components are explained briefly in this report.
• can also be extended to a large scale where we can use for industrial and
commercial purposes in high-level applications like polishing and grinding of
tough materials like granite, steel, etc.
4. INTRODUCTION
• This system can be used for solar panel cleaning and black boards and
white boards cleaning.
• This system uses dual motor drive for cleaning process.
• It uses set of gears, brackets, shafts, dusters, SMPS, L298N duel motor
driver, RF modules.
• Solar panel conversion efficiency, typically in the 20% range, reduced by
dust that accumulate on the solar panel.
• A dirty solar panel can reduce its power capabilities by up to 30% in high
dust/pollen or desert areas,

17. • Permanent-magnet types have some performance advantages over direct-
current, excited, synchronous types, and have become predominant in
fractional horsepower applications.
• They are smaller, lighter, more efficient, and reliable than other singly-fed
electric machines. Originally all large industrial DC motors used wound
field or rotor magnets.
• Permanent magnets have traditionally only been useful on small motors
because it was difficult to find a material capable of retaining a high-
strength field. Only recently have advances in materials technology
allowed the creation of high-intensity permanent magnets, such as
neodymium magnets.

24. CONCLUSION
• In roof mounted solar systems it is tough and risky
to clean the panels. The cost of the system is low
which can have less pay back in large plants, due
to improved unit generation the revenue increases.
• Not only for solar panels maintenance can it also
be used for multiple applications like black and
white boards cleaning which is a comfort for
teachers.
