This letter is a complaint submitted to the Board of Overseers of the Bar against attorney Michael Waxman. It states that three Grievance Panels have found probable cause and recommended sanctions against Waxman, while a fourth issued a warning for losing professional objectivity and maligning or threatening other attorneys. Despite these warnings, the letter says Waxman has continued the problematic behavior, as shown in recently submitted emails. The complainant expresses feeling exhausted, stalked, and persecuted by Waxman's actions and wants the harassment to end so she can rebuild her life and ensure her daughter's future and protection from abuse.

Board of Overseers of the Bar

Dear Overseers Board;
Please accept this letter and attachments as a new complaint against Mr. Michael Waxman.
The Bar has now issued three separate Grievance Panels finding probable cause and
recommending Mr. Waxman for sanctions, and fourth Grievance Panel issued Mr. Waxman a
warning that in his representation of Mr. Malenko he has lost professional objectivity and in the
process he is (1) maligning me and (2) threatening other members of the Bar.
The complaint is that despite this, and within days of the Overseers issuing the most recent
warning, Mr. Waxman continues in his behavior. Please see the most recent emails.
Wouldn’t a competent, ethical, and professional, in any field, stop behavior after the Professional
Panel issued three recommendations for sanctions and a fourth warning to cease such behavior?
Mr. Waxman’s continuance of this behavior certainly null and voids the Bar’s most recent
warning where they indicated they issued a warning because the behavior was not likely to
continue. It is, and I can assure the Bar it will, until a Judge removes Mr. Waxman from the case
or the Bar suspends his license.
I want the Bar to know I am utterly exhausted. I feel stalked, persecuted, hunted. All I want is for
this to end so I can pick up the pieces of my life and rebuild it for my daughter’s sake—so that
she can have a good future. Mr. Waxman’s incessant persecution of me, obsession with my
daughter, obsession to remove my daughter from me, causes very real damage to me and my
daughter. Mr. Waxman’s threats have very real consequences to my life and Mila’s life; for
example my ability to earn a living, or most importantly, protect Mila from sexual abuse.
I hope the Bar will be able to take action.
Sincerely,
Lori Handrahan
