  2. 2. The future of nursing is in new graduate nurses...<br />And we’re losing them.<br />The following module is intended to increase awareness about the impact of horizontal violence toward new graduate nurses.<br />
  3. 3. Up to 60% of new nurse graduates leave their first nursing position within the first year<br />50% of that number <br />leave the profession <br />entirely<br />
  4. 4. Nurses are notorious for their poor treatment of newcomers, and it goes deeper than simple hazing or initiation.<br />The quotations throughout this module come from actual new graduate nurses. Names have been changed to protect privacy.<br />
