1. Islam is an Abrahamic
monotheistic religion
teaching that there is
only one Godand that
Muhammad (pbuh) is
his messenger.
2. Islam is not a new
religion or cult.
It is the complete and
universal version of an
earlier faith that was
revealed many times
before through prophets
including Adam, Abraham,
Noah, Moses and Jesus
(peace be upon them all)
3. The word Islam is an
Arabic word meaning:

9. The Holy Qur’an is God’s final revelation and guidance to mankind.
Revealed verbally to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) around 1400 years ago,
through the archangel Gabriel incrementally over a period of 23 years.

as poetic, each verse

before it and the one
after it!
11. The Qur'an has
been translated into a
number of European,
Asian and African
Languages.
Muslims are
encouraged to read
and recite the Holy
