- Welcome Thank you for the invitation to join with you. SAY: I am here to share with you about the opportunities that you have to not only transform a box… but to transform the life of a child, through operation Christmas child
- SAY: OCC is a Ministry. A Ministry which makes the difference in the life of every child who receives a gift, and also brings love, hope and joy to their communities. Each shoe box gift is an unconditional gift. Nothing is asked of the child in order that they might receive a gift. No religious literature is inside the box. A Booklet called ‘The Greatest Gift’ is available in the language of each country where the boxes are distributed, and is given out where it is appropriate to do so. This is a small booklet which tells the story of Jesus. These booklets are never put inside the boxes before distribution. Operation Christmas Child is the UK’s largest Christmas Shoebox appeal. Last year just over 916,000 shoebox gifts were donated by churches, schools, Businesses, community groups across the UK

- Time for an impact story: be concise have an objective for sharing what you share . Include a few photos or insert a new blank slide to mark the place where you can show the OCC DVD Examples of what you could share: Try to aim for 2 mins max. keep the stories short and memorable. Add photos which relate to the stories you are sharing. Impact stories from your warehouse of the fellowship you share with others, of the kindness shown by our donors and our knitting fellowships Your experience of an overseas Distribution trip. Your experience of children who received gifts and why they are memorable to you.
