performance is stable using a control chart.
Explain why you used the type of control chart you selected.
To determine if the POS performance is stable using a control chart,
we can use a time series control chart. A time series control chart is
a type of control chart that is used to monitor the stability and
consistency of a process over time by plotting data points on a
graph and drawing control limits around the data.

Using the data given in Table 1, how would you scope the
focus area of the project?
It sounds like your organization, Holistic Health Systems, is trying
to improve its Point of Service Collections (POS) rate, which is the
percentage of patient payments that are received within 7 days of
discharge. We have identified a target POS rate of 40.6% and have
formed a Lean Six Sigma team to help to reach this goal.
