Dinesh S introduces himself as a magician who has performed over 1000 shows in the past 12 years. He mentions riding a motorcycle blindfolded for 30 km to promote road safety. He uses magic to educate people and reduce superstitions. Photos are provided of him performing magic shows in various places for different occasions and audiences. Certificates of recognition for his work are also attached.
4. It takes me great Pleasure to introduce myself as Dinesh S. I have
performed more than 1000 programs from last 12 years in Schools,
Colleges & other public cultural programs.
I rode a motorbike over nearly 30 Kms blindfolded in 01.01.2009 to
drive home the point that traffic rules are so scientifically designed that
they can help anyone drive safely even if they are not able to see the
road ahead. From Kumbar Koppal to Jk Tyres & reached Venkataramana
Swamy Temple on KRS Road without any hurdles & Rode a bike
blindfolded from Mysore palace to Jaganmohan Palace for more than
15 minutes on 22.04.2011
As per the subject, I would like to bring it to your notice that I have
been doing magic shows from the past 12 years and main purpose of
this is to create awareness among people who believe in superstitions
like children to veterans even in this twentieth century.
5. Further, I would like to educate people who believe in super
natural powers, good luck, bad luck, evils, breaking of mirror, cat
cutting your way, to see an owl in the sunlight, a dog howls at night,
etc., etc., by displaying the art of magic which will help them to
understand the real logic of all these superstitions.
I am hereby attaching some of the photographs were in I have
educated people regarding the same. To mention a few places wherein
I had a very good response are Orphanage, Old age homes, disabled,
backward communities, tribal, schools, colleges, hotels, hospitals, city
surrounding area, and even this is performed at villages wherein most
of them are true believers of superstitions.

An animated cartoon is an example
of an illusion. The eye sees moving
pictures, but in reality the
movement is a combination of many
motionless frames.

14.Don’t Forget Your Textbook.
15.Seek Help If You Need It.
16.You should always do the best that you can
and strive for the best grade that you can possible get.
54. Study Tips for Math
1. Always read math problems completely before beginning any calculations. If
you "glance" too quickly at a problem, you may misunderstand what really
needs to be done to complete the problem.
2. Whenever possible, draw a diagram. Even though you may be able to
visualize the situation mentally, a hand drawn diagram will allow you to label
the picture, to add auxiliary lines, and to view the situation from different
perspectives.
3. Do not feel that you must use every number in a problem when doing your
calculations. Some mathematics problems have "extra" information. These
questions are testing your ability to recognize the needed information, as well
as your mathematical skills.
4. Remain confident! Do not get flustered! Focus on what you DO know, not on
what you do not know. You know a LOT of math!!
5. If you are "stuck" on a particular problem, go on with the rest of the
test. Oftentimes, while solving a new problem, you will get an idea as to how
to attack that difficult problem.
6. In certain problems, you may be able to "guess" at an approximate (or
reasonable) answer. After you perform your calculations, see if your final
answer is close to your guess.

58. TRICK – 5
Ask your friend to choose a number between 1 and 9 except 8
Multiply the number by 9.
7 x 9 = 63
•Multiply the answer by 12345679 (no 8)
63 x 12345679 = magic!
Select another number say 6
6 x 9 = 54
54 x 12345679 = 666666666
1 x 9 x 12345679 = 111111111
2 x 9 x 12345679 = 222222222
• Can you find the value of the following?
4 x 9 x 12345679
9 x 9 x 12345679
* Hate 8 *
61. Remember - “you and I can decide the future”
HAPPY GREEN DIWALI
62. Though Diwali is a festival
of lights symbolizing triumph
of good over evil, today like
many other festivals, Diwali
has become a festival of
noise and pollution.
Something common to the
festival of lights all over the
country is fire crackers. The rockets illuminating
the skies with multicolored bursts, the noisy sizzle of
fiery chakris (ground wheels), ear-deafening 'bombs'
and dazzling phooljhadis (sparklers)… etc.
63. The pain and
suffering infants
undergo during the
Diwali days is
unimaginable.
These little ones
have no way to express their
fear and pain of bearing with
the ear-deafening crackers
and other fireworks except the
language of cries and
laments. Worst still the flight
of little babies.
64. Do we know what must be going on in the minds
of the elderly, sick and the homebound during
the Diwali days? While the young and the strong
will be enjoying every bit of
celebration like bursting of
crackers, the elderly, sick and
the homebound must be
silently praying for God’s
strength to bear with the pain
and suffering. They have no
other way but to pray,
because, no one is in a mood to
listen to their pain and agony .
65. The act of bursting of
crackers itself if fraught
with dangers to
humans. Hundreds
of people, especially
youngsters get injured
in the process of
bursting crackers, and even deaths. Safdarjung Hospital has one of
the largest burn care facilities in India. This facility receives the
largest number of firecracker-related injury patients throughout
the year. However, it almost takes the form of an epidemic during
Diwali. This unit runs a special disaster management protocol
around Diwali.
66. Diwali may be all about fireworks and fun for people,
but it's not the same for birds and animals. Dogs and
cats cower in fear as birds spend a sleepless nights on
their perches, with some even falling victim to the
rockets and air-borne firecrackers.
67. What about cows, sheep, buffalos, pigs etc?
These innocent animals contribute so much for
human beings. During the
Diwali days, these animals
suffer silently without even
able to express their fear
and pain. There are even
instances of death
of cows, buffalos etc when
they run helter skelter when
they hear the sound and
noise of loud crackers.
68. Addition to the harmful
effects of bursting of
fireworks on humans,
animals and Mother Earth,
this industry also perpetuates
social evils like child labour.
For example – Sivakasi in
Tamil Nadu state, about
45,000-50,000 children are
employed in the fireworks industry. These children earn about
15-18 rupees a day on piece-rates. When an inspector visits a
factory, child workers are bundled into store-rooms and sheds.
69. Besides all the above harm done due to the bursting
of firecrackers, hundreds of crores of rupees are
splurged on crackers. Are we doing justice to our
Motherland and Mother Earth?
71. • That’s the number of litres of water every
person uses each day.
• That’s almost 15 large buckets full!
We can’t make it rain, but we can make
sure we don’t waste the water we have.
