are being made through plastic money since the last two year

4. PROCESS OF MARKETING RESEARCH
The marketing research is done in systematic process.
Researcher has pursued the below process of marketing for my
study of Popularity of Plastic Money.
1. Problem identification
2. Research design
3. Data collection
4. Data analysis & interpretation
5. Research Report & presentation
1. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION
The first and the most important step of
marketing research are properly defining the problem. In order
to identify the research problem two categories of problem
should be carefully noticed.
5. In this research the problem are:-
People are not aware about Plastic Money.
People have no enough knowledge to operate plastic
money.
Plastic money includes high taxes.
People caring negative attitude towards plastic money.
OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
To study Banking industry.
To measure awareness about plastic money.
To study awareness about facility of plastic money.
To study the effect of credit card on individual sending.
To study factor affect to individual to carry credit cards.
6. BENEFIT OF STUDY
Banks can know the awareness about credit/debit card.
This study can help to banks to establish future plan about
plastic money.
People aware through research bout plastic money.
Data can be help to future research, or research provides
guideline to future researcher on this topic.
2. RESEARCH DESIGN
Research design indicates the methods and procedure of
conducting research study.
Research design can be done in following three types:-
1. EXPLORATORY RESEARCH:-
Exploratory research focuses on the discovery of new ideas and
is generally based on secondary data
2. DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH:-
Descriptive research is undertaken when the research want to
know the characteristics of certain groups.
7. 3. CAUSAL RESEARCHES:-
An experimental research is undertaken to identify causes and
effect relationship between two variables.
Our research design is : Descriptive research Design
3. DATA COLLECTION AND SAMPLING
Both primaries basically there are two types of data i.e.
secondary and primary:
1. PRIMARY DATA COLLECTION:
Primary data collection contains the following
two types of methods.
A. OBSERVATION METHOD:-
It contains casual observation, systematic
observation, direct observation and contrived observation.
B. SURVEY METHODS :-
It contains personal interview, telephonic
interview and mail interview.
8. 2. SECONDARY DATA COLLECTION:-
It can be collected fro internal as well as external
sources
A. INTERNAL SOURCE:-
Various internal sources like employee, books, sales activity,
stock availability, product cost, etc.
B. EXTERNAL SOURCE:-
Libraries, trade publications, literatures, etc are some
important sources of external data.
The researcher has used primary data for the core purpose of
the project. And this primary data has been gathered by survey
method.
Researcher will use both primary (survey method) and
secondary(external sources) data.
4. DATA COLLECTION TOOLS
To conduct a survey, the researcher has selected
structured questionnaires as an instruction for gathering
valuable information from the customers. Questionnaire, which
is used for the survey, is consisting and checklist questions to
check the customers feedback.
9. 5. CONTACT METHOD
After sampling plan has been determined, the
researcher has contacted customers by personal interview and
requested them to fill up the questionnaire.
6. SAMPLING PLAN
Research has design a sampling plan that is consist of decisions.
A. SAMPLING UNIT:
Who is to be surveyed?
The researcher has selected business class people
who are owner of any particular business.
B. SAMPLING TYPES:
There are two types of sampling i.e. Probability sampling and
Non-probability sampling.
A. PROBABILITY SAMPLING:-
Probability sampling means each unit of the universe
has equal chance of getting selected. The most frequently used
probability sampling methods re as below:
a) Simple Random Sampling.
b) Stratified Random Sampling.
c) Systematic Random Sampling.
d) Multi-stage Random Sampling.
10. e) Cluster Sampling.
f) Multi-phase sampling.
g) Replicated sampling
B. NON-PROBABILITY SAMPLING
Non-Probability sampling contains following methods:-
a) Convenience sampling.
b) Panel sampling.
c) Quota sampling.
For the purpose of my study I have used simple random
sampling.
Research will use non-probability sampling, in which
convenience sampling
C. SAMPLE SIZE:
Sample size means limited number of
despondence under the research study from a population. And
researcher has taken survey of 100 respondents to know the
satisfaction level of customer.
11. D. SAMPLING AREA
There for doing researcher’s survey was Varachha, Udhna
College Surat.
7. DATA ANALYZE AND INTERPRETATION
After all the above steps are completed now the
important step is data analyzing and interpretation. For this
there are various analytical and statistical tools. Some of those
tools are percentage, average, etc
8. RESEARCH REPORT
Once the data have been tabulated, interpreted
and analyzed, the researcher has to prepare a report. The
report consists of finding of research studies and
recommendations also. Report writing needs some skills, which
can be develop with practice. The researcher should follow
certain of principles while writing a report These principal
include objectivity, clarity of ideas and use of charts and
diagrams. A good research report effectively communicate its
research findings.
