The continues evolvement of technology has made multitude of information accessible to everyone through internet. However, it has also brought along many risks along with it.

With the advancement in technology, personal information
of an individual is more than accessible to anyone.
Personal data including names and phone number are easily
accessible through social medias.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
With the Advent of technology, stealing intellectual property
became extremely easy. To protect creators of intellectual
work, copyright is used.
“It’s simply a law which says that if you create something,
then you own it. And as the owner you get to decide what
happens to it.”(1)

5. FAIR USE
There are instances where portions of copyrighted work may
be used without the permissions of the creator.
i.e., under the “principles of fair use”, it is possible to use
copyrighted material without authorization.

6. ELECTRONIC HARRASEMENTS
Cyberbullying is one form of bullying using technology, it can
cause harm to another person in many ways, be it physical or
mental/emotional distress. There are many laws in place for
cyber bulling and other electronic harassments.

7. ASSISTIVETECHNOLGOY
Technology should be accessible to everyone. The use of
special education helps bridge the gap between learning for
students with disabilities and provides them with equal
opportunities.

8. INTERNET FREE SPEECH
Due to the recent technological advances, the distinction
between speech through print and computers have blurred.
It is hard for officials to distinguish what protection warrants
computer speech.
