There were a lot of eyebrows raised last year when a new internet TV channel started broadcasting, fully crowdfunded by its viewers. There were many skeptics about the willingness of the public to pay for content that was already freely available. One year later, this channel celebrated the start of its second season in front of 15,000 people—the largest outdoor event of the year in Vilnius.
