The AIMEX III machine has 130 feeder slots and can handle single or dual conveyor panel sizes from 48 x 48 mm to 1,068 x 710 mm. It supports various chip shooters including H24S, DX, V12, H08M, H02F, H01, and OF. Throughput depends on the chip shooter and number of robots used, ranging from 5,800 to 80,000 components per hour. Placement accuracy varies between chip shooters but is at least ±0.025 mm. The machine uses tape feeders, stick feeders, trays and other part supply units and requires a 3-phase 200-230V power source and compressed air.
